As a member of our local genealogical society, I understand the excitement and thrill of looking into your ancestors' past!

Let me help you bring your own family history alive by translating and/or transcribing any German documents you have unearthed through your own genealogical research. These might include old deeds and certificates, letters, postcards, diaries, dedications, decrees, baptismal registers, family books, local histories, census listings and more.

After viewing your documents, I will provide you with a no-obligation quote and a firm deadline for translating them.

You can send me individual files or photos via email or file share service, or (for larger projects) use the post to send me a USB flash drive or CD which will be returned to you upon completion of the project.

I have been working for some time with Gospel Translations (www.gospeltranslations.org) in editing and translating their materials from and into German.

• History and Archaeology

Past projects have included translating travel diaries, war diaries and old short stories.
